Desired Contracting

Danny Faulkner is a skilled and meticulous carpenter who isn't satisfied until the job—or any job for that matter—is done right. So when it came to creating his website he expected the same from us as he expects from himself.
We decided on a clean, minimalist aesthetic combined with a narrative-photo-essay approach to do the heavy lifting. There's plenty of well thought out copy inside to be sure, but it's definitely a site that subscribes to the old axiom of "a picture is worth a thousand words". So with that in mind we set up a photo shoot to capture a host of images of Danny in his shop, supplementing that with various shoots of his actual work in client's homes, which left us a resulting website that is unique, accessible and refreshing amongst Desired Contracting's contemporaries.
